Founded in 1977, the Yageo Corporation has an extensive line of precision resistors including traditional carbon film, metal film, metal oxide film, and wire-wound resistors, as well as thick-film chip resistors used in Surface Mounting Technology (SMT), thin-film chip resistors, SIP resistor networks, thick film chip resistor networks, multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCC), and chip inductors.
Like many of Taiwan's well-known global electronics enterprises, Yageo's Global Logistics planning has helped the company establish a competitive advantage in a rapidly changing business environment. Just 25 years ago, Yageo was one of over 200 small domestic resistor firms, but has proven to be the cream of the crop, becoming Taiwan's largest manufacturer and vendor with a 70% share of the domestic resistor market.
