Shera Technology Corporation is an American-run turnkey design and manufacturing company operating in Taiwan. We are also currently building a factory in Kunshan, China.
Shera specializes in transaction terminals and thermal printer technology. Engineering activities include mechanical design, ASIC design, electronic design, and embedded software development.
Shera was established in 1992 and is located in San Chung, Taipei, Taiwan, with more than 100 employees, and annual revenue in excess of NT 500 million. Our management style is distinctly American.
Our primary products are financial transaction products such as credit card terminals and thermal printers. Our Taipei Engineering Department designs every aspect of our products from plastic and metal parts to circuitry, PCB's and even ASIC development. |

Sr. Software Engr.
Location: Taipei, Taiwan
Responsibilities:
Porting and developing software for MIDP environment.
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in computer or related field.
Minimum 3+ years experience in software development with Java and OO technologies.
Intimate knowledge of J2ME, CLDC, and MIDP（Strong background in J2EE is the replacement to J2ME）.
Experience optimizing for low memory situations
Knowledge of various wireless network technologies.
Experience with XML.
